The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it's alarmed regarding the substantial quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area daily. The company point produced for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
